Made for Austrian Food UK by the brilliant Austrian Zuckermaus bakery in Hertfordshire.
This 'Apple bread' is a a sweet bread with dried fruits (raisins, figs, plums), walnuts, and Bramley apples and gorgeous spices such as cinammon. Traditionally an autumnal and winter choice for Austrians as it warms and heartens, this can be a favourite all year round. It has so much depth, flavour and is bound to bring a smile. You can eat it in the more traditional way (with cheese, butter, jam or just simply on its own) or experiment - as we do - with non-traditional options like peanut butter.
It arrives fresh and is suitable for freezing.
Zuckermaus owner Barbara bakes the cakes freshly. Shipping is included in the price and they are sent with overnight delivery to mainland UK addresses only (sadly this does not include the Scottish highlands due to the extra delivery time).

Who are Zuckermaus?
'Zuckermaus' is an Austrian bakery founded by Barbara Leadbetter and opporates locally in the Hertfordshire area. Barbara is a passionate Viennese baker that moved to the UK and uses her expertise to bring joy to those who have tried her gorgeous cakes and aromatic breads. Once we met Barbara and tasted her delicious treats we knew we had work with her! Zuckermaus has been awarded a 5-star hygiene rating.
