The fragrant pine cones are harvested in early summer from trees up to 25 meters tall in the high Alpine mountains. They are painstakingly picked (by climbing), freshly crushed, and macerated in alcohol. After distillation and several months of aging, this delicious schnapps is produced. A rare speciality.
